Default Swimming builds muscles ??

Can swiming replace weights training to build muscles ??

I've been doing weights, but experience alot of 'injuries'. Eg. When I do my bicep curls - I get wrist pains. Now I'm having elbow pain ...

There's greater tendency for me to get sports injruies in the gym.

Swimming works fine for me, no pain anywhere.

But am not sure if I shd really stop doing weights for good ..

Any advice ?
