Not having carbs in your diet won't hurt you. That means even less than 15 all the way down to zero. You really only NEED fat and protein.
The problem stems from when you reach goal what do you do? What do you add, how do you add it? Unless you really plan to stay at extremely low carbs for your entire life (I will stay under 20 from here on out). You can do this, check out the inuit culture perfectly healthy and they consume only whale blubber and meat and seal meat.
I'd recommend slowing your loss and finding your CCL, critical carbohydrate level and finding a way of life you can stick with, that is a balanced way of eating.
