Default Another Newbie Hello!!

Hello everyone.

Just thought I'd say hi. I tried Atkins about 2 years ago and got through induction fine, lost 10pounds too, but I was living with a tall skinny guy who could eat anything and he just couldn't understand when I used to tell him I couldn't eat the spagetti he cooked, even though I went through the whole explanation again and again. It's hard to have 2 diets in a household so I gave up for awhile. But now that I'm by myself, this will be a thousand times easier. Hope to one day fit in a leather racing suit too.. hopefully by my next birthday...
Talk to you all soon.

Welcome back!!

I hope it's easier for you this time. I do know what you went through---but I am lucky because I normally do the cooking.

I just started recently also, hope to see ya around.

Good Luck

Default Welcome

Hi, you sound just like me. I stopped too because the tall skinny guy I was with was a vegatarian at the time. Should have stuck to my guns!!!!

Now that I'm a sinle mom, I'm determined to let nothing stop me. I need to set a good example after all!

This board is very supportive and will help you with any questions that you might have.

Start a journal, check out www.fitday.com to track what you're eating, and keep reading the boards.

Happy lo-carbing!
