Default Carbquick

I should be recieving my very first bag of carbquick today and aside from a few recipes (the cheddar biscuits and english muffin) I don't know what I'm going to do with it.

So, what is your experience with carbquick? What are some of your favorite recipes???

Just about every single recipe there has been either created by or tested by some low carbers somewhere...makes a fabulous starting point.

Enjoy!

Haley's Nana's Biscuits...simple, just the Carbquik, butter and buttermilk. Can knead lightly and roll, or just make them "drop" style (me, I'm lazy) and drop the batter off a spoon. A better version of the ones on the TOVA site because it actually USES buttermilk. I like to top pot pies with this stuff...

There's a blueberry carbquik scone/biscuit in the Kitchen:Low-Carb Recipes section, just cruise through the Contents of Bread and Baked Goods thread, STUCK at the top of the Bread and Baked Goods section ( natch) -- every single recipe section has such a thread, with LINKS to actual posted recipes.

Hi...I love my carbquik...here is one of my favorites...anytime i want a quick buscuit....i use one third cup of carbquik...a dash of oil...a dash of baking powder...pinch of salt...and then just add water to get biscuit consistency.....then bake it and it makes one biscuit so that you won't eat too much....

Sandy
