Default Hello, I am a new lo-carber

Hello, I started the Atkins diet (for the second time but I only managed a week back then) about seven days ago and am hoping to get into average bmi. I am about a 26.1 now and am looking to get to about 22.5. I am also interested in gaining more muscle weight tho and I'm hoping Atkins will help.

I am in induction at the moment but I do find Atkins hard as I have an insane sweet toot. I eat whole tubs of B&J and like 6 big cookies in one go so sugar is a big deal for me. I am hoping to get thru with the aid of some low carb alternatives but they are so expensive and hard to find in the UK so I am importing them from the USA. Wow, I really rambled there..sorry lol

Welcome. I have a big sweet tooth also. Believe it or not the craving will go away. Give it some time. I didn't believe it either. Stick to plan and all the cravings disappear. Good luck.

Welcome to the forums, UserXYZ! I wish you the very best of success. Craney is right! The cravings do go away, usually by the second week of Induction, unless you give in to them! Be strong (oh, I love B&J's, too! ), and you will feel much better soon.
