Question how do i count lettuce

Hi all I am 1 week into this wol and I am still confused about fiber content. I am calculating 100grams of lettuce as 2g of carbs, does this sound right? Any help would be appreciated. I really want to make sure that I am doing this right.

Toni, there's a great Carb Counter on this site under "low carb tools". Once you've found the lettuce in question click on it and it will take you to a page where you can change the quantity from 100g to 1 cup etc. It's easier to deal with in cups

Nat

Question counting fiber

Thanks for the quick response. By the sounds of it I should be eating more veggies. I have been counting l00g of lettuce as 2g of carbs when really it should only be .69g carb. I have been doing the same with all other veggies. Could you please explain to me how the fiber reduction works. What does the ecc (i think that is what I read) mean? Thanks Toni
