Sugar Free Cough Drops

I bought some sugar free cough drops b/c I have a cold, is it ok to take them? I've been taking diabetic tussin b/c it has no sugar. Any advice?

I used sugar free cough drops when I was sick and didn't have a problem. They were sweetened with aspertaime which stalls some people. I guess it would depend on how you react to whatever they are sweetened with.
