The idea is to drive every last molecule of glycogen out of your muscles in the last few hours before your carb up. This creates a sort of 'vaccuum effect' which will supercompensate by flooding the muscles with extra glycogen once you start with the carbs. If you look among the sticky links at the top of the forum, you will find specific work outs, but here's the short version.
Take every muscle group to failure in a circuit.
Lower the weight and do it again.
Lower the weight and do it again.
Lower the weight and do it again.
Lower the weight and do it again.
Passing out or barfing may seem like attractive options at this point, but try to hold it together until you can stagger out of the gym and start your carb up.
Cheers,
Friday
