Hi Sarah!

Without knowing more about what and how you are eating, it's difficult to give any advice on what, if anything, you might be doing wrong. Can you post some daily menus for us?

I too am having trouble seeing any results after having restarted Atkins. (Had some health problems, etc. and went off the wagon) I know that I am an extremely resistant weight loser--it took me a year, mostly on induction, to lose 10 pounds! During my time away from Atkins I regained all my weight, but I started again about 3 weeks ago. Neither the scales nor the tape measure have moved. I'm trying to be optimistic and stick to the program. Here is a typical day: 2 strips turkey bacon and 2 scrambled eggs ( 1 whole and 1 egg white) for breakfast. Hamburger patty with mayo, mustard and ATkins ketchup or a salad with some sort of meat and regular dressing for lunch. Meat and 1 cup veggies for dinner. 2 snacks a day include such things as carb free jello, carb free jello with fat free cream cheese, handful of nuts, string cheese (1 oz). Occasionally I substitute an Atkins shake for a meal or have an Advantage bar for a snack. I figure I'm eating about 1300 calories a day. Also I am exercising 3 to 4 times a week for about 40 minutes. I'm making an effort to drink the water and mostly succeed. Any advice would be appreciated

Brenda, 1300 calories might not be enough for you. Believe it or not, you can get "stalled" by not eating enough!

And ditch the fat-free cream cheese. Fat is your friend, and fat-free stuff is loaded with sugar.

Get rid of the bars and shakes, they stall many people. Also up your fat intake. Atkins is a high fat diet.

Get an account at www.fitday.com to help track things. Try to stick with whole natural foods instead of convience foods, drink tons of water, and shoot for 65-70% of your calories coming from fat
