Are walnuts alright to eat freely? The bag I have has 3 grams of carbs and 3 grams of fiber.

Hi Bec,

I'm sorry to rain on your parade, but your bag contains 3g carbs.

No nuts are carb free, so when a package states that the "total" and the fibre count are the same, it's an indication that they have already subtracted the fibre. You can check the counts on the carb counter here (at the right side of the screen, under "Quick Links," or in www.fitday.com

Are you just starting? (noticing your stats here) If so nuts are not allowed on induction. I was happy to add nuts to my diet. I love the macademia nuts.
