Hi My Journey...I am wondering why, with bGs in that range, your Dr wants you to take glucophage/metformin ..?
I am well past my baby bearing years but for otheres reading this thread.....In the last 9 months I have had two periods of taking metformin, and during both episodes my bGs rose and stayed at all time highs ... I have previously been an advocate of it's use, and I am sure it is a good OHA (in fact, the best) but I am obliged to say that as a T1, I have found it very unhelpful.
We all have diabetes, but again, this proves how dissimilar our reactions to almost everything...OHA, insulin, diet, exercise.....can be..!!
