gaining weight, should I limit fat?
Hi,
I have been doing this for a month now and have basically gained 2 pounds. Not a lot of weight but considering I am trying to lose weight, not optimal. I don't think I eat that much but I am eating more butter, cheese, peanut butter, whole milk, without counting fat grams, AND lots of veggies, meat etc. I started working out three weeks ago 30 minutes of cardio (4X week) and weight training 4X a week. (I also live in NYC and walk all the time and live in a 6 floor walk up). I am sticking to 30 grams a meal since I am working out. I know that muscle weighs more than fat, and I do feel like I lost a little on the tummy but the thighs!!!
Anyway, I guess the main question is can I really eat ALL THAT FAT! I am skeptical, after all the years of Low fat/hi carb.
by the way I am 29, 130lbs and 5'3"-trying to get to 115-120.
