Default Mulit vit for Men..okay for women LC'rs?

I found a good deal on a multi vit. without iron, but it says its for men. I checked the content and its similar to other reg. multi. vit...maybe a little higher on some things. I was just wondering since the main this it has not iron is it an okay vit. for anybody? It was a buy one get one free..K-mart brand. Any help would be great.

girljock21,
Without listing the ingredeients It would be hard to say if it has all you need. If it is a very good muli vit the lack of Iron should be no big deal on a low carb diet. Also make sure that you are getting enough Calcium I would be interested in what is in it becuase maybe it is at my Kmart. I found a supplement that I like at the dollar store it is Rexall Sun-Vite and is only $2.00 for 45 Caplets. Here is what is has
Vitamin A(20%(1000IU)as beta caroten)5000IU100%
Vitamin C(niacinamide ascorbate)60mg 100%
vitamin D(cholecalcifweol)400UI 100%
Vitamin E(di-alpha-trocopheryl acetate)45IU 100%
Vitamin K(Phytonadione)10mcg 13%
Thiamin(B1) 1.7MG 100%
Niacin(niacinamide ascorbate) 20mg 100%
B6 (pyridoxine HCI) 3mg 150%
folic Acid 400mcg 100%
B12(cyanocobalamin) 25mg 417%
biotin 30mcg 10%
Pantonthenic Acid 100%
Calcium 200Mg 20%
Phosphorus 5%
Iodine 100%

How is everyone getting their required iron intake without taking a multi vit./min w/iron...I have been taking Womens one a day from day one and need to refill..but now I'm wondering if I should do the no iron vitamins (Womens one a day has 18 mg. in them)

According to fitday I am not reaching my iron %

Thanks
