Question Xenadrin EFX

Hi All:
I wonder if anyone tried Xenadrin ephedra free to speed up weight loss. This is a new fat burner without ephedra, so i thought to give it a try. I was against this stuff too but it seems to be very tempting to get rid of some fat without losing muscles.
I'm still trying Dr.A Induction phase but it would be nice to get some boost in fat burning as well. Can it lower my BG? My fasting BG are higher than ever, now on Induction, 135-138.:-(
Any input will be greately appreciated.
Dina

Do you exercise before your 2 hour pp test? I almost always treadmill one mile after eating (20 minutes). My 2 hr pp's are always under 120 that way...usually around 100. If I don't, and I eat a real (meaning 400 LC calories) meal, mine will spike almost as high as yours! I haven't lost enough weight to get my IR down in order yet! But, I am working on it!

Also, I just started using a supp called SugarEase. It has Banaba Leaf (supposed to lower BG's) and a bunch of thermogenic herbs (not ephedra) + caffeine. I was leary of the caffeine at first, but so far...so good! I will let you know in a couple of weeks It takes 1-2 months to get these supps into your system!

Best Wishes!

HI Sherrielee:
My 2 houe pp BG are always around 100 or below. It's my fasting which is higher now on Dr.A Induction. i never had problem with my pp BG.
I just need to lose excess weight now any way possible to see if it's the reason for my elevated fasting BG. I guess Xenadrin won't be worse than the diabetes meds and insulin. i just wanted to see if anyone had success with it before wasting more money on supplements.
Thanks,
Dina

Are you having wine or brandy (no grains used in making them) before bed? I swear...this works!

Edited to ADD: I know if we get our weights down, we will be ever so much happier with our BG's! I had so much more to lose than you! What a struggle!

i have 1/2 glass of red wine almost every day with dinner or sometimes one jin martini. i never actually tried alcohol right before bed. we usually have dinner early, 6-7PM. i'm concern that all this alcohol contributes to my stalled weight loss, and even to some gain. having two drinks every night is two much for me, may be i'll switch times. alcohol works for me sometimes but not all the time. Dr. A doesn't allow alcohol on Induction tho. i'll try it anyway.

Dina, if your fasting bG was all right BEFORE you started your induction...maybe they will settle down again when you 'come off' !! You may recall that if your body lacks glucose to function (induction) at first it WILL cause a bG rise..trying to make up for what it is used to. Sherrilea exercise plan is very similar to what I do..are you getting some exercise in regularly. You daytime walks will help your fasting bGs as well, you know.

hi Eve:
my FBG was not normal before induction but now it in 135-145 range. i do go for lunch walk/jog/run almost every day (monday-friday), i can't do it after every breakfast but i do it after dinner as well. in addition, my overall BG is fine now, 2 h pp is around 90. it's only FBG, which is highest point of the day. nothing works to bring it down now: alcohol, protein/fat snacks before bed. i'll hang in there and see if it will get better in while. i'm just curious. note to myself: stop testing fasting BG for 2 weeks.
