I have a question about the SF candy (specifically Turtles). The lable says 18 carbs per serving & 15 grams of sugar alcohols. Does this then count as 3 net carbs or do you count it as 18 carbs?

Three carbs--and eat them carefully. Sugar alcohol can cause you to need a restroom VERY suddenly.

I too am having trouble navigating this site. So, sorry to be replying to your question about lc candy, but I didn't know how else to get in! I have a question about being stuck. Have been following the carbo addict diet with no cheating, although I don't call it a diet any more, it is a way of life for me, easier than atkins I think. But I am stuck at 7lbs since starting on July 7th. Don't know what else to do other than exercise (yuck). Can anyone help?

I count the carbs in sugar alcohols. Minimal effect is much different then no effect on blood sugar.

I did test my blood sugar after eating a bar though and found no significant rise. There are still calories there though and carbs. Read the link at the top about LC tips. She covers what are sugar alcohols and how they can effect you.

candy like that stalls me dead n my tracks so I stay away from it as much as I can. It is said it can also lead to cravings

That would be my fear, eating a bunch of the SF candy and want all the chocolate in the world!
