Default On induction - ate a bunch of almonds - consequences?

Okay - can't undo a bad day, but what, generally, isthe impact of eating a couple of handfuls (I've got big hands...) of almonds?

My net carbs will be a little over 20, but not much - might the carbs in the nuts hurt a lot?

Don't sweat it.

However, it will never be a good idea to have several handfuls of nuts. One or two handfuls, perhaps.

Nuts are verboten on induction because you're still fighting cravings and it's really easy to overindulge on nuts.

Of course, it's better to overindulge on Nuts than, say, Tortilla chips!

The consequences will most likely be zero. Perhaps you might have lost a bit more, but when you think of how much you have reduced your carbs already, I doubt it'll hurt much. That being said, you MAY experience increased cravings - so not a good idea to repeat while on Induction.. Just keep going and make up your mind you will do it *right*! Hope this helps..

I loved your post - I did the exact same thing on my second day of induction!!! I remember counting them (10) and my husband looked at me disapprovingly (he is doing the diet too).

Well, I didn't put any weight on and do not remember any particular cravings afterwards except the one I had before eating them!
