Default Alcohol and mini blocks sizes?????

Please help-I've seen SEVERAL different versions of how much wine (red or white) is equal to one carb mini block. On zoneperfect it says 7.5 ounces on another site it says 4 oz etc. Also for distilled alcohol like vodka it says 4 oz.

I'd like to have a glass of wine once or twice a week w/o screwing up my blocks-please assist.
thanks
tess

I'm not sure where you've been misinformed, however, 4 ounces of wine (red or white), or 1 ounce of distilled spirtits is treated as one carb block. Please be aware, 1 gram of carb = 4.4 calories while 1 gram of alcohol = 7 calories, so don't go crazy and be sure to balance with protein and fat. I go to wine tastings all the time. I avoid the crackers and enjoy the other treats, like cheese with no problems.
