Question Lipolysis testing strips

Where could I find some of these testing strips? I live in Hawaii, so my choice of stores is somewhat limited.

I've seen them in regular old drugstores, but they're behind the counter so you have to ask for them. Just say you need strips to test for ketosis. The brand I've seen back there is called Ketostix.

Hope that helps. They should be around since diabetics use them for medical reasons as well.

I visited my local Walmart and checked with the pharmacy. I said "ketostix" and they said "oh, atkins".. lol. So maybe just mentioning Atkins will do the trick. They come in a box and cost under $10. It's a nice quick way to check for ketones. Don't forget to use a scale and a tape measure too!

Good luck!

I'd be wary about mentioning Atkins... someone on this board said that a counter person refused to sell them for diet purposes!! Can you even believe that? They don't need to know why you're peeing on a stick anyway!

Wow! I can't believe someone got refused because they were wanting them for "diet purposes".

It never ceases to amaze me how ignorant some people may be.

Good luck with your ketosis!
