Smile A Compliment from a Perfect Stranger!

OMG! I was completely floored today.

Just about everyday I venture out to check the post office box. Today, while walking out of the post office and back to my car a gentlemen stopped me. I would see him occassionally since he works for the postal system at that branch. Anyway, he stopped me and asked "can I ask you a question? How did you lose all that weight?" I almost dropped my teeth! I proceeded to tell him Atkins at which time he told me his wife has been on that as well. We chatted for a few minutes and he later asked me if he could chew my ear a little the next time I was in since he had to get back to work. He said his wife was getting tired of eating the same ole stuff so he wanted to ask me about my eating habits.

Needless to say, that really made my day! It's funny how others see you so differently than you see yourself. I tend to find my faults rather than focus on my success. I really really need to find an old picture of myself so I can maybe see the difference. I obviously look and feel different (going from a size 12 to a size 5/6) but I thought if maybe I could actually see it for myself, it might help me to see myself as others do. Who knows?

Awesome!! It's funny, my starting point was a 12, I'm a loose 10 now, and I'm wanting to be down to a 5/6, too

That is WONDERFUL!!!

Be sure to give him great tips so his wife will be successful - the more the merrier in our Atkins group I say!

I think the last time I was a 5/6 I was 10 years old

I don't think I'll see anything below a 7/8 when I'm done (which is OK by me

Sango: YOU WILL BE DOWN TO A 5/6. Believe me. Just have patience and don't give up. Lord knows I almost did many many times.
