Default Is this for real??????

In this diet I can eat steak, bacon, and pretty much any other fattening meat guilt free as long as I keep the carbs really low. It seems like I am missing some type of catch here, so can someone clear this up for me.

Yes, this is for real! Thank goodness you found us!

I suggest you read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution asap if you haven't already. He has a website as well.

The only "catch" is that you cannot eat carbs. During induction you must stay under 20 carbs a day. You do not crave carbs or get hungry like you do on low fat diets...please join the club!

Good Luck!

Yes, it's for real. But with rules. Please go here http://atkins.com/Archive/2001/12/15-464579.html for a list of acceptable foods that may be eaten during induction. Then you need to pick up a copy of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution as soon as you get a chance.

It's a great way of life. You'll feel more energized and happier than you've ever been in your life. I don't know how I ever lived without it.

Welcome aboard!!

It really is a great plan. However, calories do count. If you eat too many your loss will be very slow or stop. You are to eat until you are satisfied. I find that eating protein, veggies with sauces and dressings, and high fat items fill me up quickly and keep me satisfied longer.

Good luck.
