Default Aspartame and Ketosis

Does drinking soda with aspartame have the potential to take you out of Ketosis? I thought Atkins advised against it because it could contribute to cravings? Any thoughts on this?

I'm sure if you're drinking a lot of soda it probably could. Don't know.

Are you getting enough water too?

I drink diet sodas constantly and have throughout this entire diet and haven't experienced any problems. Even though I should, I don't drink hardly any water.

Aspartame can spike Blood Sugar...That is what causes the stalling and weight gain. It can also cause headaches and other problems, unrelated to weight loss.

I was in a long stall for sometime, after reading about aspartame I decided to stop drinking soda and voila! I lost 8 pounds in 4 days so for me soda is a no, no.
