Default Stolli Rasberry Vodka & Rasberry Rum

I know rum and vodka have 0 carbs, but how about Stolli Rasberry Vodka, or Bacardi Rasberry Rum? (They are white in color in the bottle.) I cannot find either of them on the carb count websites I'm aware of, and am not sure if I should drink them for an upcoming occassion.

I ordered some raspberry flavored splenda syrup to add to my waistwatchers soda & regular rum drink...but the shippment will not arrive at my house before the function I am going to. (I really need sweetness in my drinks, and waist watcher soda & diet Rite are the only splenda sodas I'm aware of - aspartemene seems to stall me)

Does anyone know the answer to this? I don't drink very often, but am feeling anxious with the event coming up, and want to be mentally prepared. Thanks for your help!

Question I was wondering the same thing . . .

I just e-mailed Allied Domeq (they own the Stoli brand) to find out. I'll let you know if/ when I hear back.

The flavored hard liquors just have fruit essences in them, similar to mineral waters like Crystal Geyser and Arrowhead. They do not contain extra carbs.

Lightbulb News from Stoli

I finally heard back from Allied Domeq (Stoli's Parent company):
"The amount of carbs in our flavored vodkas ranges from 0.3 to 0.6 grams per one-ounce serving."
Not exactly an exhaustive nutritional rundown, but at least they replied to my e-mail.

Default ? about the aspartame stalling

Lola,

Hope you don't mind that I ask a slightly unrelated question, but I was wondering how you noticed you stall on aspartame, and how much you stall? Did you find the same to be true at all of citric acid (which is in Diet Rite, for instance, and nearly everything else under the sun)?

Thanks,
CB

Hi Cbcb,

I noticed I stall on aspart. because when I drink it I don't loose as much as when I don't drink it at all. The only aspart I have drank/ate was diet vanilla coke and sugar free popsicles. Don't get me wrong - occassionally I still eat it - but if I really want to loose I have to cut it out of my diet. If I'm maintaining my weight - I eat it for pleasure. My understanding is this is not the case for everyone...so you have to get to know your body and how it reacts.

Good Luck!!
