Default Don't know my Crit Carb Level

Hi all,

Well, I only have 3-5 pound to go to my goal of 190. I am in the Pre-Maint phase of Atkins. My problem is that I never figured out what my Critical Carb Level was during OWL.
I have added more carbs to my diet and average 20-25 (I have very high metabolic resistance). Sometimes I get more (25-30) but I am careful.
My question is, how critical is knowing this level? I do know that when I reach 35g or so that my weight loss stops. I am assuming that I can use this as the Crit Carb Level.

Thanks!

Craig

This is what those ketostix come in handy for. I added 5 more carbs up until the test strip is very pale pink which per Atkins' book says you are at your level or too high. I then drop 5 carbs for a week and see if the stix turn a little darker...if they do than I consider this my level. Right now, mine is 35 but I try to stay around 25-30 for best results since I have more than you to hit my goal.
