Question pleasantville cookie company

Has anyone bought anything from the pleasantville cookie company? How was it? I keep seeing their ads on this site and I've checked the website out a few times. They seem to have a lot of LC products and I was thinking of trying some. I was just curious what the quality is like, particularly on the almond flour, bread and cookies. And how does almond flour work in recipes? Does it taste normal? I've tried multiple times substituting Atkins Bake mix for flour, but everything always comes out really salty. (I had a really bad experience making cookies this weekend... wasn't pretty)

I personally did not like any of their cookies. They use a lot of almond flour and I thought the texture was too gritty, and the taste itself was too sweet. I know some people like them though. If I were forced to choose one to eat, I'd say the chocolate flavor tasted the best.

Thumbs up

I have tried the Irene's white bread that they sell. I can buy it at my local GNC. Not too many GNC's carry this though. It's frozen and sliced and as close to regular bread as I have tasted. It's great. I've not tried anything else though.

Their Macaroons, crumbled up, make a great crumb crust for LC cheesecake!
