Default What Kind of Tests Should I Get?

I have an appointment with my doctor Friday.
Other than being overweight, as far as I know, I don't have any major health problems.

I plan to have a blood work up done. (it's been a while)
Since I am losing so slowly, 13 lbs in 90 days, I suspect my thyroid could be the reason. My temp is always below 98 in the mornings usually around 97.6. And I do get cold easily.

I am a little confused about the thyroid tests I need to get.
THS, T4, and T3 is this correct?
Anything else?

Thanks in advance for your help!

TSH, I believe, is what you want in additon to the T3 & T4 tests. I think those are the basic tests for ruling out thyroid problems.

I am ALWAYS cold-- my normal temp is around 97 deg., but I do not have any thyroid problems. I think my levels were in the low end of normal.

Regardless, it's something good to have checked just to rule out the potential for any "hiding" problems.

Good luck to you!
Nikki

PS- Your losses so far a wonderful! Don't worry too much about the rate you're losing. It's coming off.
