Unhappy Having a bad night !!!

Hey all,

I'm having one of those bad nights where I'm craving food I cant have....especially something sweet [I may go squirt some whipped topping in my mouth...lol]. And also I am feeling very queasy in the stomach which I usually dont on Atkins and have a terrible headache. Maybe TOM is coming I dont even know !!! And to make matters worse I havent been losing and still havent got down to 158 where I was before I cheated one day about a week ago[I gained 8 lbs. back in that 1 day]. I was so tempted to have just a little of something but I figured I would come here and write a post instead of cheating....I will get through this urge I have before. Last year when I lost 30 lbs. on this diet I never cheated unless it was controlled and planned ahead in advance....like for special occasions. I'm not one to do this without ever cheating.....I need some planned cheat days on special occasions. Cause there are some foods like potatoes in particular I can not imagine going a lifetime without ever never having ....sorry ! Well thx for listening I feel better and think the carb urge is passing. Any encouragement tonight greatly appreciated !!!

Hi there!

I was having similar cravings.......and it's my first time since starting. I decided I was hungry; have had a hectic day and even though it was after 11 decided to have a healthy snack to curb the cravings.

I made salmon salad and rolled it in lettuce. It tasted WONDERFUL. Whilst I don't like to eat this late I will to help control a craving. I think it worked, I'm sure I'll make it to tomo guilt free!

Hi,

You shouldn’t be hungry at all. If you want to eat, eat but eat the right stuff.
Loading carbs at that moment will only make it worse for you. You probable should take a close look too al the labels on you food. There might be some carbs being hidden in it.
