Unhappy tanita scale

Well I bought a tanita scale on saturday. as you would imagine, my weight is not what i was previously told by both my dial scale and my moms digital. Very discouraging. Im up a few pounds and really bummed about it. I feel like I have to start all over again and as long as it was taking me anyway, its longer still yet. Sighs. I could have cheated today. I told myself well as long as im starting over.... but I stayed true to this WOL. So I will weigh in tomorrow morning and put that number as my starting out weight bc I dont really know what I started out at. Im glad I now have accuracy and no more betrayal games by inaccurate scales. But still very discouraged.

It's just a figure. So it's higher than you thought. You know how to win now.

Just a thought - if this scale reads higher than your previous scales, chances are that you started the same number of pounds higher on the new scale... which means you have lost theSAME amount of weight.

Cool Yup

Yup, it sucks.. but you know what, you are in exactly the same spot as you were before you got the new scale. It just has a different label on it now.

And you know either way, I think you are very lucky to have found CAD, and low carb in general when you weigh in the low 200's. I would kill to have found this WOE then, sure would have saved me a lot of misery.

So, don't sweat it... that number will be gone before you know it anyway.
