Default Beef Jerky---how many carbs?

Hi There,
Just wondering if anybody knows the carb count for beef jerky? Every package I have seen so far has no calorie, protein or carb count. Also, does anybody have a low carb home recipe for making beef or turkey jerky?

Thanks,

Carboman.

I'm not sure about Canada, but every package of jerky I've seen here in Michigan has anywhere from 1-3 grams of carb per 1 ounce serving. Too high for me for that little bit of food.
As for recipes, you can do a search through the recipes forum using the work "jerky"; there's probably at least a few recipes there for you.
HTH!

I did find a low carb beef jerky at Real Canadian Superstore. It's their own brand and has the counts on the package. No sugar in it, btw. RCS is the chain that carries President's Choice stuff here in BC, if that helps.

We make our own in the food dehydrator. No carbs...or very few if we use recipes!
