Yes, caesar salad w/no croutons is my mainstay when I go out to dinner and I can't seem to find anything suitable to eat on the menu (I assume you're referring to eating caesar salads out). Most restaurants have caesar salad. The only variable is the salad dressing. Most salad dressings have sugar in them. But in the amount of dressing used, it's really negligible. If the uncertainty "creeps" you out, then you could take along your own dressing.

Caesar salad is fine (as you know, no crutons) - just watch the carbs / sugar if you're using premade dressing - home made dressing is much better, you can make a bunch and keep it in the fridge for a week or so.

When I go out with friends at lunch this is my one favorite - Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad (no croutons) and I haven't had any problems in all the places I have eaten.

Default I love Caesar salad!

Cardini's Caesar Salad Dressing only has 1g carb per serving (and it tastes better than all the others anyway!). Chick-fil-A has a really good Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad and they use Cardini's. That's where I go whenever we're out and my kids start bugging me for fast food.

I TOO USUALLY EAT THE CHICKEN CEASAR, SEEM TO BE A CHOICE THAT YOU HAVE MOST ANY WHERE. HOWEVER I HAVE TO WATCH THE SALT IN THE SALAD DRESSING... SOME I THINK HAVE WAY TO MUCH (ESP. MCD'S)

I always take my dressing with me when I'm going out to dinner ( or lunch) - that way I have already pre-measured, know I love the dressing, and there are no worries. EVERY place has a salad.

I LOVE Cardini's and Whole Foods 365 brand caesar dressings. I also love Annie's Organic Buttermilk Dressing - all have 1 carb.

Et tu Brute?

Good thing that they are OK. DH is hooked on them. Instead of croutons I put a little bit of crumbled bacon in it for some color. My dressing has 1 gram of carbs per serving.

Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy!

Here's a great version, that is reminiscent (sp?) of the original Cesar Cardini recipe.

Caesar Salad

Hope this helps!

Grilled chicken caesar salad is a staple of mine. I just wish restaurants would serve the chicken cold. Albiet you know it's freshly cooked, I hate warm caesar dressing and lettuce. blech.
