Same results and I had an intestinal bypass yrs ago. It is one of the big bonus results in my life- no bloat, no gas pains that for me were worse than labour pains.
And if we can discuss bathroom games .....

Default Weird stomach pains

I have had these weird stomach pains since HS. Never lasted terribly long, never bad enough to see a doc, but enough to have me miss out on things when they hit (maybe 1/month or so). Since Atkins, none. Love it!!!!

You know I only noticed this when I ate a Pure Delite bar one night. Instant gas. Then it occured to me that this was the first time in a LONG time I had to deal with that.

Who knew?

Food sensitivities/allergies can cause gas or stomach distress. One of the most common causes of food allergies is wheat. Atlins eliminates it.

O.k. this is bad but once again LMAO. I don't break wind nearly as frequently so to speak, but I still do when I have pepperoni for some reason. :0 And I love pepperoni for a snack!!!!!

UAGirl....now if only I can convince my DBF to go low carb, well I would love him a whole lot more.

I think it is the lack of starchy carbohydrates. I cannot digest them well at all; and now that I know not to eat them I am much more comfortable Aren't we all?

I think this is a wonderful side effect of the program. My HUSBAND was horrible before. Who wants to snuggle up to a "farting machine"! Now.....It's much nicer. lol

Gee, this is soo.......... funny, I just told my doctor, one of the things I lked about the diet was, I'm not gassy and burping any more. He said that, that may indicate a wheat intolerance.

When I made the soy flour pancakes, I was a little gassy.

Pepperoni, most of them have traces of bread/wheat fillers, once off wheat for so long even a tiny bit like that could effect you.

Cheers Kathy

Hm. I was attributing it to giving up milk (I was a quart-a-day fellow...), but yes I too have noticed this. The only thing that still causes me any sort of distress is an overabundance of garlic. (Not that I plan to give that up anytime soon... )
