Default Me and my friend Bacon

I've started to notice that on days when I have bacon, usually 4 to 6 strips, I lose weight. It's amazing but it's worked every single time. Even on those days when I feel like I've had too much to eat, I eat bacon and the next morning a half lbs is gone never to return. Has anyone else found a magic food that helps them along on their weight loss journey?

A can of tuna+mayo+small pickle-eaten out of the bowl with a fork for brunch. I get up late in the am and just eat one meal at home, one at work and a good snack before I come home. It's tuna that seems to do the trick for me.
Dang if I could only stand to eat it every day. It gets boring and I quit for a while and stall, only to start losing when I add it back. Sometimes I add lettuce wraps or celery, but it works about the same. It may be a coincidence-but I'll take a loss where I can get it!

Hello,

This may be a bit off the subject but have you ever tried hard boiled eggs with the tuna and mayo? I tryed that last week it was an egg-tuna salad! IT was yummmy!

That may help jazz up your tuna hey_Neener!

My family loves tuna sandwichs. We mix Tuna, hard boiled eggs, chopped dill pickles and chopped celery or chopped carrots, Yummy. I eat mine out of a bowl and kids and my dh use bread. Now I am hungrey for tuna.

I'm not partial to egg salad-I don't know that adding eggs to my tuna would help! I just can't eat as many eggs as most in the forum. I just have to like weight loss more than variety I guess-at least it's not the only thing I eat!

For me...Bacon (and all cured/processed meats) keeps me from losing weight on this WOE!! I guess, whatever works for some, might not work for all.

However...the tuna ideas seem to really work for me. I make a salad with chopped cucumber, tuna (that new Bumblebee lemon tuna is best..), plus a dressing made of mayo, mustard, and a little stevia. It's always been good to me!!

Mega-tuna fan here...always have been and always will be. Once asked Santa for 100 tuna sandwiches for X-mas (seriously)! THANK YOU GOD for the packets!!! I buy it in bulk at Cosco stores and eat it nearly everyday. Makes a great lunch and snack. But am going to try the bacon to try to get out of this stall.

Hey, if eating my computer would help I't try it!

I find eggs help.. and yes, bacon too. Now that I think back, bacon helps but sausages stall me (hidden carbs?). Sausages however work great for my DH... so who knows?!?! He ate pasta and ground beef last night with the kids and STILL lost weight this morning (I hate him ).

I can't stomach tuna.. don't know why.. I used to like it, it grosses me out now.

Blessings!
