Default Getting Smaller

What a good feeling it is to see yourself being able to fit into a smaller size of clothing, especially pants.
I recently tried on 2 pairs of pants that I haven't been able to fit into for at least 3 years..While I was pulling them up, I was telling myself that if they were still tight that was o.k. because soon they would fit...To my surprise, they they slid right up and buttoned and zippered without any problem!! What a great feeling!! It just reaffirmed that this WOE is really working!!
What experiences like this has anyone else had??

I made the Salvation Army Folks Happy this weekend. Cleaned my closet out...the result:

Gave to the SA

12 pairs of jeans size 38 to 42
20 pairs of slacks and dockers size 38 to 42
5 Suits big
3 sport coats
6 sweaters size 2x
18 shirts(t-shirts and casual shirts)
5 dress shirts
8 pair of summer shorts
2 pair jeans shorts
2 pair docker type shorts
5 pair of sweats 1x and 2x

Then I went shopping and bought some new shirts, summer shorts, jeans, and such. Just enough to get by as I'm still loosing. All the stuff I gave away was way too big...it's an amazing feeling. I'm now wearing large shirts instead of 1x and 2x, and I wearing size 36 pants...the 36's are getting a little big and will get to go to 34 soon.

Pstar,

I'm sure alot of us are making hefty donations to the Salvation Army.

I think I have at least donated 15 large garbage bags of clothes and shoes. It feel great to get rid of the clothes, Just hate to see that I spent all my money on all those clothes. And you know what sucks is that Plus size clothing is always pricier then normal size clothes. Nowadays if I buy clothes I buy a size or two smaller. This way I make sure I am on track to fit into them.

Out with the old and in with the new smaller wardrobe.

Maybe I shouldn't have been so hasty to get rid of my shoes a few months ago (I can't remember if it was before or after I started on this WOE).

Now, it seems like my shoes are feeling bigger (or my feet are not as "fat"), and I wonder if my $150 shoes would still have fit?

Oh, well - hopefully some needier person can make good use of my well-kept footwear.
