Question Sugar Free Syrup

Any suggestions? I tried the Atkins pancakes and the sugar free, 0 carb syrup for breakfast this morning. The syrup was very thin and wasn't very good. I saw a post the other day about this syrup and they said there was a better syrup and it was thicker. Does anyone know of a low carb sugar free syrup that tastes good?

You might want to try the new Log Cabin sugar free. It has 12 carbs per 1-4th cup but those are from 12 gms of sugar alcohols and I don't count those...I might be wrong not to, but the syrup sure is good so I'm afraid to question it too much.

It's also fairly thick. I just found it and have used it several meals this week and have not gained from it.

I've found some good sugar-free syrup at my local Wal-Mart. The brand is Sorbee, and it has 3 grams of carbs per 60ml (from Sorbitol). I don't know if Wal-Mart in the U.S. carries the Sorbee brand though.

I make my own with...

1 stick of melted butter
1/2 teaspoon of maple flavoring (in the spice isle)
4 packets of splenda

It's really good - though it does tend to want to separate. Hubby and I just have it in a bowl and dip and swirl our "pork rind waffles" in it as we go. The best thing is there is hardly any carbs!

You should definately try it. The waffles are really super too!
