Default Taco and Burritos

Anyone know how many carbs taco shells or burrito shells have? I was looking in the kitchen area and thinking of making some tacos or burrito's but am unsure as to how many carbs they may have. Also wondering how many carbs salsa and sour cream has?

Bad news, they are pretty high. around 22 or 24g for a large burrito shell. You can get low carb shells though that are not too bad. Also, there is a recipe floating around here somewhere on how to make a shell outta of cheddar cheese and fold it like a taco shell. Hope this helps out.

Cheers,

Chud

Why not make a taco salad? Just put a bed of lettuce in a bowl, and top it with meat, cheese, olives, tomatoes, avocado, sour cream and salsa? I like a tablespoon or two of ranch dressing added to mine, too.

Salsa has a couple of carbs per tablespoon, I'm thinking--can't remember exactly. Salsa has about the same. The labels should tell you.
