Default JITTERY feeling during induction

I am on day 2 of induction - tried before but cheated so starting over - and I'm feeling really JITTERY. From what I've read, this is probably my body's way of dealing with not having carbs. But what can I do to relieve this feeling??!!

Thanks!

Yes, you are detoxing but won't last much longer then you'll be on your way to a healthier way of living. Are you taking supplements - I take cal/mag, potassium, mega vitamin (for women) - these will make you feel much better and are you getting enough carbs, you need to be at 20 per day and one more thing, drink tons of water. You'll feel better soon.

Hi! I hope that means that we are doing something right. I made myself some hamburger, felt like if I ate somethting maybe it would help, and it seemed like it did! I had a little energy to excercise for about 25 minutes this afternoon but now I feel very tired. I think I'll go to bed early!

Good luck to you, we'll make it through this and will feel much better I have a feeling!

As some say, it may be carb cravings or withdrawl and may go away in a few days. Another possibility (and why the water advice is key) which is common with Low Carbing is dehydration. People often describe describe being jittery and even having heart palpitations when they don't drink enough on LC.

It's a case of carb withdrawal. Keep drinking your water and make sure you eat enough. If you eat too little, the jitters can get worse. It should be gone in a day or so.

I felt jittery the first couple of days and also had a headache. FOr the jitters I found eating to be helpful (felt better when I really felt full) and the headache went away. I didn't feel that "boost" until about day 6. Hang in there, you are doing great and it will feel sooooo good!
