Question Want to get started

Am brand new to this forum and WOL. Have been reading of your successes and wish everyone luck. I'm seeing many new terms which I'm not sure of. For instance When I go on "induction" I can only have 15-20 carbs daily. Do I need a book that explains induction? How do I get started?

Thanks in advance and good luck

Matt

Hi Hadabuck,
Induction is the first two week period on Dr. Atkins New Diet (make sure you purchase the most recent edition.) It's a low carb diet. You can pick it up at any bookstore, quite well known. There are others, Protein Power, and The Zone that also propose similar strategies.

Good luck. And you should really read these books if you want to know what you're doing.

Good luck

Ruby

To the right under Quick Links is a link to low carb plans - Which low-carb plan is right for me? - that will give you an overview of the many plans available. From there, you can decide which plan is right for you and what book to buy.
