Never heard of them (yet) but a quick 2-second search on www.google.com for "Southern Delite Protein Brownie Bars" came up with a really quick find for information on them, at this --> http://www.southernsignaturefoods.c...therndelite.htm website.

Here's one of the Ingredient Lists for a CHOCOLATE-COATED PEANUT BUTTER Brownie/Cookie:
Quote:
maltitol, protein blend (whey protein isolate, calcium sodium caseinate, whey protein concentrate, soy protein isolate), peanut butter, hydrogenated starch hydrolystate, almond butter, peanuts, peanut extract, fractionated palm kernel oil, lactitol, whole eggs, partially hydrogenated vegetable oil (may contain soybean and/or cottonseed oil), cocoa (processed with alkali), peanut flour, rice flour, maltodextrin, oat fiber, glycerin, milk calcium complex, soy flour, natural and artificial flavors, gum acacia, salt, mono+diglycerides, baking soda, corn starch, xanthan gum, lecithin, sucralose, potassium sorbate as preservative, ammonium alginate, calcium alginate, calcium carbonate, alpha amylase, partially hydrogenated palm oil, acesulfame potassium. Allergy Information: Manufactured on equipment that processes nuts and seeds.

Kinda scary!

The Ingredient List alone gives me the willies but here's the Nutritional Information, with a carb count of 13 buried in there somewhere for a 30g 'cookie', so almost half carbs of one kind or another...
