Default Weight/Measurement times

When do you folks weigh in or measure? Most knee jerk responses say in the morning but I feel that is almost like cheating since I assume you're low on water weight. I weigh in at night, but then I could be high on semi-digested food/water. Just curious

Think of it this way:

1- Weighing yourself is not to determine some absolute value, but rather to determine a delta, or change over time. It doesn't really matter what the number itself is, but it does matter which direction the trand of change is going. Hopefully lower.

2- Therefore the only important criteria is being consistent about weighing at the same time every day, so the water contribution is consistent.

3- People like weighing in the morning just because water doesn't factor as much. Who wants to count water when we're worried about fat?

I agree with the previous post. I weigh in the mornings. Your weight can and will fluctuate by 3-5 lbs in a day. I find mornings are more stable. I tend to be a scale freak and weigh every day. I measure every other Tuesday morning.

I weigh each morning. That way all that I've eaten isn't effecting it, nor is water. I measure every Sunday morning. This is just my way of starting the week and being consistant.

I weigh once a week. When I do, I do it before I eat or drink anything. I do this because some days, I am swollen like a balloon and others I am not swollen at all. Mornings is the only stable time for me. However, I agree that you should weigh the same time each time you weigh
