Default Genisoy LC Crunch bars - great granola bar substitute!!

I loooooooooooooooove granola bars and have missed them dearly since going LC six months ago. At my Krogers the other night, I found Genisoy LC bars, there is some info here:

http://www.genisoy.com/Dot-Net/Desk...id=14&ItemId=70

A little pricey at $1.79/bar, but the peanut butter one that I tried is to die for! They do have some sugar alcohols (I think about 14g of malitol in the PB flavor) and they claim 2 effective carbs. Soooooooooo good if you've been missing your old granola bars!

And yes, they are a perfect granola bar sub

I absolutely loved the chocolate bar I got last night. One for 99 cents with a coupon for 35 cents off. The bar was only 64 cents. I went back and bought more this morning. Peanut Butter was pretty good too. I would definitely reccommend these

It looks like they (adminiistrators) combined the third post to this one and got the thumbs down from that one.

Thumbs up Genisoy Low Carb Crunch bars.

These are the best lc bars I've ever had. The chocolate chip flavor tastes exactly like a Quaker chewy granola bar and is absolutely delicious. The peanut butter are good, and the chocolate are decent. The lemon is not that good, very sour.
They're cheap too. 1.19 at my grocery store.

I can't buy any more because I can't stop at just one, but thought I'd share.

Thanks for the review. I've wondered about them but get turned off by the name. I don't much like things that say "soy" in them. Experience has shown.. they usually taste like soy. Not a good thing in my opinion.

Talking

I just thought I'd bump this back up to the top, because I just tried my very first GeniSoy cruncher. Wow, are they ever good! Like, I kept eating it and I kept thinking, "this can't be low carb!" because it was just that good.

Of course, I suppose anything would taste that good to me if it wasn't an Atkins Advantage Bar

When I'm in a rush, I will often grab an Atkins to tide me over until I can have a proper meal. However, the only flavour that I like is the Cookies n' Cream. But, since that's the only flavour I eat of 'em, I'm getting pretty sick of them and I'm always looking for alternatives that suit my palette.

So, anyways, these GeniSoys...wow, so good!

PS...maybe an admin would be able to change the post icon? I confess when I went looking for a review, I was shocked that these bites o' heaven got a "thumbs down" until of course I clicked through and found it was a positive review

I bought one of these based on a review I read HERE last month and BOY are they good! I tried the raspberry and I'm HOOKED! They remind me of my old faves, the Zone Perfect bars, which I had to give up because of the carb count!

They all contain peanut butter. That means I can't eat them!
