Talking Russell Stover's Candy

I found Russell Stovers Pecan Clusters ( sugar free) at My Local Save-on-Foods in South Surrey. These Pecan clusters are exactly like Turtles. Yum yum Yummy !!!

A little pricey however. I buy these bags ( they have 6-8 pieces ..same size as turtles) for 1.50 USD ... and they are 3.59 CAD at Save-on ... but if you are missing your Xmas chocolates ... I am sure one or two of these would fit the bill !!

my husband tried those, he's diabetic, but the big thing you need to watch for, is they ...well, too much of them can give you problems in the bathroom....it's the malitol...there is a warning on the ingredients list...

The peacan clusters are actually better then the Suger free Turtles . And there Peanut butter cups are way better then the suger free Reese Peanut butter cups.(both of which are available in the US)

In Canada Walmart also carries them (When you can find them). It's been a while but I believe the price is $2.69, and I have seen them at Shoppers Drug Mart for $2.99. They also have truffles, peanut butter cups (very good), and somthing else, I am getting mixed up with the US, where Russel Stovers has a bigger selection. Also if you go to Bellingham, you can get them at Walmart for $1.69US a bag.

They also have a lo-carb line in the US. More expensive, and for some wierd reason the low carb Peanut Butter cups have way more carbs then the suger free ones. Plus they cose $1us more!!!

Lastly don't forget that they do have trans-fats. So if you are trying to avoid this then Russel Stovers is a no-no. Of course it is hard to pass on them, they taste so good.

the pecan delights are always at Wal-Mart and used to be 2.47 CAD per pack of 6 but now have gone up to 2.84 recently...makes me wonder if they aren't trying to profit on the lc craze? Naw.....
