Default Lynn's Exercise Log

Well, I decided to start tracking my exercise daily, so that I can see where I am and how far I have come.

Today, I walked this morning for 3.75 miles in 1 hour 10 minutes. That is 10 minutes shorter than normal. I am going to be trying to add some jogging in there sometime.

My stats for this week:

Weight 213

Waist - 42
hips - 48
chest - 45
left thigh - 24
right thigh-24
left calf - 17
right calf - 17.5
left arm - 13
right arm - 13

Ewhhhhhhhhhh...I have never done my measurements before.....hope this changes soon.....*sigh*

I am wearing a size 18 in misses right now....I can get a 16 on, but they are still too tight.

I wear a pedometer all day, and will probably log my daily steps, but will not count the total as daily exercise. I will only count my daily walk and whatever I add to it, such as pilates or weights.

Since it is technically a new day, lol, I am going to post my total steps for the day.....now, this is with my 3.75 miles that I walked this morning.....all the walking that I did on the University campus for school.....and then all the walking I have done so far at work. I work a 12-hour night shift right now.

Grand total for steps for today...... 21,457 or 9.49 miles.

Resetting my pedometer now.....

Yesterday, I did 1 hour of Pilates. That is all I can handle of that so far

Total steps for the day.....according to the handy-dandy pedometer 13,320....5.89 miles. That is without actually walking for aerobic exercise, so I am not really counting it as exercise....it will be interesting to see how many steps that I actually take in a week.

So, from the depths of page 14......lmao

Almost exactly 1 year ago was the last time that I posted in here....let's see if I can do this better now. Most of my exercise will come from this game called Dance Dance Revolution....we have both the first one and the 2nd. Later, I will throw in some weights, because my son is going to play football at the high school in the fall and we are going to get a weight bench.

Haven't exercised yet today, but will when I get home. I will post what I do then.

Here's to a great new year!!

Yesterday, I did 1 hour of Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix....I was very surprised that I was able to go that long.....of course, my hubby and son were cheering me on, so that helped.

I think maybe this evening, I will do that and some toning. I need to find a good site that has stuff where you can see what you should do as a beginner and go from there.....all I am really worried about right now are my arms and abs. My legs get a good enough workout from the DDR....lol.

Is DDR the XBox equivalent of the Eye Toy? I've thought about getting a playstation 2 just for the eye toy as a workout - I agree with you, tapes get dull after you have done the same routine several days in a row!

Padruga...not sure....the X box version has a dance pad and you dance on the arrows as they go up the screen and you get a score and a grade for each song that you do. I am not sure how the eye toy works.....

Tonight, I did an hour, agian.....

Current Miles .647

DDR definitely sounds like the equivalent of the Eye Toy. I bet it gives a *GREAT* workout! And one that's lots of fun too.

How do you get your calories burned to the nearest one-thousandth?

*waves* Hello again, Padruga!

The computer figures that for me at the end of my workout. When I am ready to stop, I just push the button to go to my results, and all of that is listed there.

Pretty spiffy

Today, I walked for about 15 minutes at lunch and then played the regular ddr game for about 20. Didn't track my cals on the game tonight. We went out for dinner, so didn't have time, but will do the regular workout tomorrow morning before I start running the boy and his buddies around.
