Default Crispy Baked Chicken

Ingredients

4 large chicken breasts, bone and skin still intact, cut in half
1/4 C heavy whipping cream
1/4 C water
1-3 oz bag of plain pork rinds finely ground
1/2 C grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic salt
3-4 T melted butter

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Mix the cream and the water together. In a shallow bowl, plate, or in a bag, mix the pork rinds, cheese, seasoning, and salt. Dip the chicken in the cream mixture and then coat with the "breading". Place chicken on a rack in a roasting pan (sprayed with nonstick spray). Drizzle the melted butter over the chicken. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes.

This recipe is easy, and the chicken turns out crispy and delicious.

I hope you liked it, nicksmom!

I forgot to mention that a person could use skinless and boneless chicken breast if they preferred. also I suppose a whole cut up chicken would work nicely if you like thighs, drumsticks, wings, and chicken breasts. I even think the recipe would be good on fish.

will this taste like Kentucky Fried Chicken? I've been seeing commercials for their chicken and it looks to yummy....I would love to make something like that or pretty close to that.

Hi April,

Unfortunately, no, it doesn't taste like KFC. I love KFC, too. This is very good though.

Joe Joe, cheese and bacon inside sounds scrumtious. I'll have to give that a try!

Tried the chicken last night, everyone liked it. Even the teens! I didn't tell them till the end that it was made with pork rinds .

Isn't it amazing all the things you can make with pork rinds?
