Default Russell Stover's SF Toffee Bars

Well, after about 10 weeks of this WOE and very very little cheating, I think I've found my weakness. I have stayed away from all things Russell Stover (including their sugar free line of candy) -- UNTIL YESTERDAY! I discovered the sugar free toffee bars (2 squares in each package for a total of 0.4 net carbs per package) and had to try them. They were calling to me. Well, let me just tell you. They taste EXACTLY like Heath Bars!!!! They are so good! I ate three packages yesterday and three packages today. Oh, what am I going to do? The worst part is that I've been in sort of a stall, going up and down with the same 3-4 pounds for a few weeks now, and I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that I allow myself some Atkins Advantage and/or Endulge Bars pretty regularly. And now this, too! TOFFEE AND CHOCOLATE!! Wish me luck getting off of these sweet things and back to the veggies! And if you are a toffee lover like me, I would highly recommend NOT trying the Russell Stover's SF toffee bars unless your body does not react to sugar alcohols at all! They are just too good, and so low in carbs it is hard to say NO!

Default Russell Stover Low Carb Candy

Has anyone tried the Russell Stover low Carb Candy? The package says 0.2 net carbs per toffe square. It was delicious!!! I hope this carb count is accurate.

hey...which one are you talkin about? is it the Peanut cluster ones?
I think theyre quite delish. I prefer the sugar free Russel stovers
because theyre cheaper(only 1.50 a package) but they have .33 net
carbs. but hey...those extra carbs wont hurt. hehe

Default CANDY!!! I FOUND SOME! 0.2 carbs each

I found fantastic candy. Chocolate too! Ever tried Dove Chocolate? That stuff is great. This tastes verrrry similar. It does not have the sugarless flavor, it does not have an aftertaste, it is equally good to full blown REAL Chocolate candy. I am a serious die-hard Chocolaholic. I love Chocolate. This stuff is seriously good.

It is made by Russel Stover. They have regular candy <blehh>, sugarless candy <blech> and low carb candy ... YUMMMMMMMMMMMM I bought French Mint and Milk Chocolate. They are solid chocolate, about the size of a tootsie roll, and they are 0.2 carbs EACH! The front of the package advertises low carb, you have to look for that. Their sugarless candy is full of carbs, so you have to make sure you look for low carb vs. sugarless.

Seriously folks, this stuff is great! I got it at WalMart. I was looking for Ross brand and couldn't find it. Now I'm glad I couldn't find it, this stuff is great!

Default When a Craving Hits, Switch

I've found success in switching candies; whenever one makes me crave in a loco way, I switch to something less tasty, but equally chocolaty. Currently I try to eat the EAS Carb Control bars, and the Reeses Sugar Free Peanut Butter cups. They are two brands that I like okay, and just knowing that I can have them instead helps me to break the craving merry go round.

A tip, I usually nibble on a reeses cup while I eat a few walnuts. I do a bite of reeses, then a bite of walnut, back and forth. It gives me a blast of nutty chocolate. That has been tiding me over nicely.

I find that I will eat a lot more chocolate when I don't have variety in my diet! I tend to grocery shop quickly, and when I don't have enough variety my mind tends to wander to candy.

Make sure you have plenty of options, like Pork Rinds, a variety of nuts, and cheeses; have some pepperoni, or a little watermelon. Keep plenty of variety to keep your mouth happy!

You remember Pavlov and his bell ringing, salivating Dogs....... I tried some Russel Stovers SF chocolates. I loved them, all of them. That night I got the worst case of cramps and diarreah of my life. I had some more candy the next day......boom, same thing happened. I was up all night.
Now, like Pavlovs dogs, I only have to look at a Russel Stover box and I get cramps. It has cured me of candy. Aversion therapy if I ever saw it!

I have found the Russell Stovers milk choc and almond bits. They are awesome and take care of my craving for chocolate. Can't wait to find the mint patties as I love those. Gotta to have chocolate and maybe only have 1 piece every 3 or 4 days. Works!!!
