Ok I asked this in the newbies section but nobody knew or answered, so Ill try here. Has anybody ever tried the Atkins Accel pills? How do they work, and what exactly do they do?

I saw them in the store, but didn't buy them. From what I understand they are apetite supressants not really metabolism accelerators.. so don't know how well they work or anything...

Sorry not much of a help... but its all I got.

I had the whole kit a couple of years ago. They give you a little energy. I didn't really notice too much change in my body though. As far as my appetite goes, this WOE does that suppression w/o stimulants.

Thanks for the info, Im not really into taking pills, but I thought that they would increase results or something. When I did LC a few years ago, I remember some days I had to make sure I was eating something because my appetite was already suppressed so I guess I dont really need the pills, but was just curious about them. That is probably from the caffine in them. They contain caffine and green tea extract which are suposed to aid in weight loss. I get my green tea from drinking it though

I don't get it. I love living LC, but how come Atkins discourages caffiene, but his product Accel has it in it? Iknow he has passed away and cannot defend this, but I don't get it anyhow. I just gave up caffiene (finally). It hasn't affected my weight either way, but I was sick of the stimulant addiction...I just gave up cigs a couple weeks ago and the caffiene wired me too much!
