Default dreaded hanging sking

I was wondering. I've been overweight pretty much all my life but not heavily...probably at least 30lbs. at the least. For those of you in that situation....did you have a lot of hanging (saggy) skin? If yes, what did you have to do to get rid of it? Exercise? Surgery? I started to notice a little sagginess.

Depending on your age and exercise level, the skin will tighten back up. Some people here have tried a technique called skin brushing. Try putting that term in the search engine (click on the globe icon above).

I have lost a total of 34 pounds and have not had a problem but I exercise and am 35 years old.

Also at you age, height and what you have to lose, I would not worry about it. Nothing that a little exercise couldn't take care of

Wink not a problem

I actually weighed a little more than you before I lost 35 pounds on a low fat diet. I never had problems with saggy skin. Your body adjusts. I also exercise regularly.

The elasticity of one's skin is largely a genetic issue. I have permanent stretch marks on my hips that I got just from a growth spurt. My slim & trim husband has them too.

I started at 215, though my highest weight ever was about 225. So far I'm down nearly 30 lbs since starting low-carb and the skin situation is pretty darn good. It's tightening up more than I dared to expect.

Still have a ways to go, though, but I hope this will continue.

I'm trying the skin brushing. Not sure how much it is doing for my cellulite, but I can say that my skin has NEVER been so soft (at least since puberty ). I love it.

I'm also exercising a couple of times a week -- could be better, but still up from 0 times per week -- and this seems to be helping firm me up, too.

Good luck!

K.

P.S.: I'm 35 and have been overweight since puberty - give or take a few brief moments.
