It's important to rememebr too that with close friends who see you daily, or coworkers, spouses ect, they just notice you not the weight. It takes someone commenting, seeing you at a certain angle or something for it to click that hey, she's lost weight.
It's the same for my kids. With my son he always looks the same ot me, although others may say how big he's getting. Then one day I'll see him standing next to something, or getting on his bike and I'm just floored at how much taller he's gotten then the last time he stood there or so on. I see him every day though so the gradual changes aren't as noticable.
Hang in there, you're doing great, and people will notice, just give them time.

Even after 20 pounds gone my primary care physician asked why I hadn't lost as much weight as my DH. How totally annoying ...

Um, duh. The doctor was male, right? Men can almost always lose faster then women, thanks to a wonderful thing called estrogen. Our bodies like ot hang on to that extra insulation just in case we're in a baby making mode

my in-laws go on and on about how much my DH has lost (50 lbs.) but all they say to me is Ahem..."Well gee Lori, you sure aren't losing very fast are you?" Uggggggh!
