Default Induction Food Question

OK, I've been contemplating whether or not I should eat Spicy Genoa Sausage during induction. Here are the stats: 160 cal, 17g fat, 2g carb, 10g protein.

Is this OK as long as a count the carbs in my daily allowance?

Default Spicy Genoa Sausage

Looks OK to me although there are probably luncheon meats (Cervelat Salami for example) out there with fewer carbs. But I'm new to this stuff too, so don't take my word...

You also need to watch 'hidden carbs' in deli products. Make sure they aren't using starchy fillers - I'd check the ingredients closely.

I found some GREAT spicy pepperoni sticks at Costco that come in at 1,5g for a 100g portion (one stick) They make a good little snacky along with a healthy slice of old cheddar (1 carb for 30g)

They also have a turkey pepperoni which is very nice but it comes in at 3g for 100g...

I think it should be ok as long as you realize those products have much sodium and sometimes you retain water after eating.

Have lots of extra water to compensate.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I know the nutritional information, then there aren't really "hidden carbs." I'm not treating it as a free meat, I'm aware of the sugar content and taking that into account.
