I tried those Atkins Jelly beans and they tore my stomache up. I was in the restroom all night. The taste really good but oh my God! they are not worth the pain. Did anyone else have this problem??

I haven't bought anything like that. None of the bars, tortillias, jellybeans, drink mixes, etc. To me those kinds of things are a waste of money. I can do without.

Of course, I can't expect everyone to have my extreme will power. I wish I could share it with those of you who have random cravings!

But if they're making you sick..

YUP! What was in them? Maltitol? Do you know about sugar alcohols? They can really rip you up and can stall weight loss. There is a sticky to the right: The truth about low carb sweeteners.

Since you know they affect you this way, try to avoid things that end with -tol (maltitol, lactitol, sorbitol)
