Thumbs up another new kid on the block

I am thrilled to find this forum. I low-carbed last year & discovered that my blood pressure would drop to the point I would not need meds!!! However, as I am sure lots here can attest, being the only lc'er in the house is challenging....I am so glad you all are here for me! Thanks in advance...

Amagee

Hi Amagee, and welcome to the site.

This is a great place for support and to meet new LC friends.

I know what you mean about being the only LCer in the house We make two different or modified meals each night at our place. The best thing is though it doesn't take very long to stop being jealous of what the other ones are eating

Good luck

Lesley

Hi There Asmagee

Welcome to the site. I wish you every success with your programme. My husband has joined me on low carbing, so that helps at meal times. Mind you, I don't know what little extras he may sneak in when he's at work . From what I've heard they seem to have a ready supply of chocolate bars

Cool Yup.. low carbing can be tough..

But.. the best way is to think of all the things that they eat and do.. that you can eat and do :-)
But now my father is attempting LC..
and my sister Tanya (tigersue) is on this board..and also doing Schwarzbein..and doing very well at it!
I have my daughter eating this way to the extent a healthy 14 year old needs to eat this way
and my roommate eats this way to a lesser extent... lesser because a girl with Down's syndrome really doesn't like always doing without what she "likes".. some of which is high carb.. but we do the best we can :-)
I am so glad your here!
Have lots of fun..there are so many that know so much!

Poofie!
