Default My Great Week

I started my diet exactly one week ago and I have dropped 15 pounds, 255 to 240 today. I'm totally stunned. I eat three nice meals and stick to my induction with no cheating. Like yesterday I ate 3 pancakes for breakfast, for lunch I had a salad with homemade dressing with a hard boiled egg in it, plus an atkins bar and for supper I ate three deerburgers (no Bun) with a slice of swiss cheese on them and a small salad and dropped two pounds on the scale this morning. Go Figure. Im very happy with the results and realize that it can't go on forever so I'll just ride it out and enjoy.

Thank you Cindy,
I can't understand it. The only thing I can think of is I was on another diet from Febuary 1st to April 30 ( lost 40 Lbs.) and it was a bad diet of starvation and I hit the wall on it and gained back 12 pounds til I started the atkins diet a week ago and maybe being as that weight is so new its coming off easier. One thing about me though is my history has been to loose weight as easy as I gain it. I'm very impressed with the atkins diet. This is my third time on it. This time I'm really dedicated to it.

Bob

Bob,
You must be keeping induction very clean to get those kinds of results, that is just so cool!!
Of course, men also lose easier than women so you should reach your goal in no time at all. I have only been on low carb for 3 weeks and I love this diet, definitely something I can live with for the rest of my life.
Whatever you are doing, keep it up, you are really doing great!!!

Thanks to you all for your words. That is one thing I am doing is following induction to the T. No cheating yet and it will be hard to cheat even if I only get a third of the results I'm getting now

CONGRATS to you, I too love to hear success stories since I am pretty new to atkins.

And those deerburgers. it is the first time I have heard them mentioned. Arent they just great. I use deerburger in everything that I would use hamburger.

Keep up the good work and post your results, it keeps us all motivated.

OK Stacy I will keep posting. I'm sure things are going to slow down but I'll just enjoy the ride for awhile As far as deer burgers go yes they are great and I have a freezer full of deer venison which is one of the leenest meats and very tasty.

Hey guys,
I knew this was too good to last. No pounds off for two straight days but I'm sticking with this diet no matter what. I'm very impressed with the fact that how much I can eat and not feel starved. I realize their may be times where I don't loose for a week or so so I'm mentally prepared for it.

Bob
